{"id":2991,"date":"2024-01-29T15:13:11","date_gmt":"2024-01-29T14:13:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/stami.no\/en\/?page_id=2991"},"modified":"2024-02-16T14:58:16","modified_gmt":"2024-02-16T13:58:16","slug":"outpatient-clinic-occupational-medicine","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/stami.no\/en\/advisory-work\/outpatient-clinic-occupational-medicine\/","title":{"rendered":"Outpatient Clinic \u2013 Occupational Medicine"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"content-entry intro-text-container\">\n\t\n\n<p class=\"lead\">Patients from across the country can be referred to the outpatient clinic.<\/p>\n\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>At STAMI&#8217;s outpatient clinic, we assess patients with suspected work-related diseases, such as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>respiratory diseases<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>cancer<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>skin diseases<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>solvent injuries<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>vibration-induced injuries<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>To schedule an appointment, you need a referral from a doctor, such as an occupational health physician or general practitioner, or from NAV (Norwegian Labour and Welfare Administration). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The purpose of such an evaluation is twofold. Firstly, we can assess whether there is a causal relationship between work exposure and the disease.
